New Guy from Orlando
Hey guys, I just wanted to introduce myself to the community. My name is Peter and I recently acquired my 99 Miata (3 months ago). I didn't plan on doing anything to the car and was trying to keep it as my daily beater. That quickly changed unfortunately. I'm a gear head and its very hard for me not to mod any of my vehicles.
Anyway, I hope to learn a lot on this forum as I just picked up a ls1/t56 trans am for cheap that I plan on swapping into my NB.
Thanks!
Peter

Thanks guys! I'm located in East Orlando and can't wait to get this project rolling. I've been around the "car scene" for quit awhile and just sold my 1000hp Supra. I wanted a completely different car this time around. I'm done with useless power

Right now I just want the car stable at the speeds it does currently and get there just a bit quicker. ...we'll see what the next goal is at that point.
My tuner is busy prepping cars for the runway rivalry right now so my tune still is not fixed post intake change. (Runway Rivalry | Texas Speed Syndicate). I'd like to get in on some of that action at some point. If it can stay hooked it could hurt many a ctsv's feelings (already does ) . ...and some other cars too.

If you want your car to be stable at those type of speeds, you could always take the Corvette engine out of the Miata & put it in a Corvette.
