LS1 Miata in Orlando here.
Hello all, the name's Jay and I have a 99 Miata with a 2002 LS1 and T-56. I used the now defunct Racing Concepts kit, well actually I had them do the entire swap turnkey. Was quoted 30 days, and it took close to 200, but that's another story. The car made a solid 314/333 with a single crunch bent 2.5" exhaust. Shortly after I had a dual 2.5" mandrel bent system installed with side exit's through the body and the car made 333/351. I took it to the drag strip for the hell of it and it went 11.9@116 with a 1.7 60' Not too bad with coilovers for roadracing and a 205 drag radial. I have since added a cam and LS6 intake manifold which netted me 378/372. The car is so much fun, probably too much. I don't drive it on the street much at all, I would have a horrible driving record, or be in jail. I am in instructor for chin motosports, so I get to drive it on tracks in the southeast, the car always performs amazingly, and gets tons of curious admirer's. My next event is Jan 2-3 at Sebring, so I've got a little work to do after Christmas, to get it ready. Here's a few pics.
