Hi and Welcome!
Tell us more about that conversion. It looks like a DIY as opposed toa Monster Miata kit. What was your motivation behind flipping the intake around to the driver's side?

it made it alot easier for the large mass air and filter. yeah the whole thing was all my fab work. the kit cost buys alot of my time i figured. plus i wanted the motor back as far as poss. it made the trans shifter centered in the original location. 3/4 of the firewall has been redone. the car is back apart im going to motor+mid plates and the rear irs is out the door. ford 9 inch with my own 3 link/watts suspension in the rear. ive made room for 345 35 17s in the body. ill start posting pic soon. the motor is a 347 it laid down 375 at the wheels and 619 on the juice. bigger tires should help me alot in the traction area!

So what did it run at 619hp. Videos or timeslips? I have been able to squeeze out 10.70@133 on 225-45-17s and I still think that with some more practice and driver mod it will go faster.

yes,it was a crappy run. im making big changes to get alot of traction and still keep handling in check. im putting 06 front subframe with suspension in the front and three link on a ford nine inch in the rear.

You can get more out of that car just on motor. The open diff might be hurting a little. I ran a 13.8 at 106mph (corrected altitude of 8000ft) on 225/50-15 street tires and 269hp/306tq and 3.27 gears with a Muncie 4sp.....never hit 4th gear.

nah it was 133 i spun bad and missed 1-2 shift cause drive tran was shaking so much. the open rear hooked on the street so i though id try it. they booted me cause of the mph. i had 245 40 17s, and i just went for fourth at the traps i rev the motor to 6600

Please don't take offense:
I'm not sure why you are going to make all of these changes to your car. You have a really fast car that needs a driver.
Seriously, you are only practice away from running really fast times. I was also considering the solid axle rear until I saw that some guy in Australia was running 9s on stock rear suspension.
edit: I just saw your latest pics......nevermind.

lol here is my reasoning. on the street, racing awd sti's and evo's i could launch just as fast but i was pedaling to do it and then walk um. so what if i put enough tire and the right geometry suspension i wont have to pedal the car i just launch and carry a wheel and win from the line on the street and the track.
