Help with 2001 NB + LS1 Wiring Questions...
Hey guys
I've got an LS1 thats going in my 01 NB.
On the LS1 alternator Pigtail, there is a single Red wire that I believe makes its way to the factory LS1 PCM.
On the Miata Alternator harness, there are 2 wires. One is grey, and the other is grey with a red stripe.
I'm assuming on the Miata harness that 1 wire is the alternator wire that the PCM controls to tell the alternator when to charge, while the other wire is the light for the dash to let the driver know that there is a fault.
So what exactly do I connect? Should I leave the Miata wires disconnected (taped out of the way) and just leave the factory LS1 harness do its thing, or what?
