Default Dbw questions.

I have been searching like crazy for the past couple weeks and have only found one source that somewhat helps. I will be starting an ls1 swap soon. I know that I will need the throttle pedal but will I need the tac module as well? By the way the ls1,ecu, and engine harness came from an 01 vette. I don't know if that changes anything. Thanks for the help and I'm sorry if it's a dumb question.

Must be a dumb question. I think that I have found the info I needed but I just want to make sure.

I believe you must have the tac module along with the accelerator pedal. It just threw me for a loop because I had read over at ls1tech that the vettes didn't have tac modules and I also couldn't find any info from anybody's swap thread about the tac module. But the vettes do have tac modules and either I misunderstood the post or was an inaccurate post. Moral of the story I believe is you need both the accelerator pedal and tac module.
