So to start off i have a Nb, im using v8r subframe, with a 97 corvette ls1. im wondering if i can use the oem headers that are on the engine currently or will they not fit? im just have a hard time paying for the v8r or fm headers

Lots of options for headers out there none of them cheap and none of them perfect but no OEM headers will work. Not even close...

Turbo Tom has is a decent set for sale cheap in the classifieds right now.

Also there are guys upgrading from FM 1.5s to the V8R long tubes so there are used FMs coming up pretty regularly.

 

We used the stock cast iron manifolds off of a G8, and the worked great. Built the e haunt from the manifolds on back, worked great.
