Default Front sway bar- SBF

Ford swap. The standard issue front bar everyone seems to pick is the RB "hollow bar". There are 2 versions available for my mainly street driven '90, a street and a larger race version. What are you guys using? Any clearance issues?
Looks like spring is here finally.

I'm running a 90's BMW 3 series sway bar. It's clearance for an oil pan.

I have this one: Sway Bar - Tubular - Front for 90-93 Miata - Racing Beat coupled with Martin's sway bar towers. I've run it with and without the stock rear sway bar and settled on keeping the rear sway bar installed.

I had my bar custom made. I eliminated the need for the sway bar extensions and i have excellent clearance everywhere. It only cost $150 more than a non custom bar...well worth it 😊

Hi TureBlue,

I had it made by KMAC suspension here in Sydney Australia.

Contact Us – K-MAC Suspension (k-mac-camber-kits.com)

They do have an office in the USA in CA. Not sure if they manufacture there as well. You can give them a call and see if they can make you one. Essentially its a Miata sway bar at 1 inch diameter that needs to drop by 100mm across the front long section of the bar, with 45 degree blends to the ends. I am sure KMAC can get it done for you, either locally or have it shipped over to the USA.

Its a much nicer look and fit with a custom bar...I will see if I can take a pic of mine as a reference for you.

Cheers

Hi TruBlue,

Sorry I dont have the part number as there wasnt one. All they need to do is make a standard miata sway bar at 25mm and make it so it drops 100mm as soon as it comes out of the D bushes. Thats it really

If you send them the pic I have posted then they can do it for sure.

Here is a place in Oregan that could do them too
