RIP Miata 5.0 Monster kit and drivetrain for sale
Pre-owned Monster Miata Ford 5.0 Swap Kit w/Engine, Transmission, Rear-end, Exhaust—Hit the Easy Button!
$3,900
If you're building or considering a Ford swap into your Miata, my loss is your opportunity. As you know, when building from a kit, the kit just gets you started with some basics--you still have to source the engine, computer, wiring harnesses, clutch, bellhousing, clutch arm, driveshaft, rear-end, CV joints then an exhaust system. Then put them together. After 9 years and 24k miles of road trips, local driving, and local car shows, my ’95 Miata w/ Martin’s conversion kit (Monster Miata), fell victim to a Suburban running a red light. Most of the unique Monster parts survived (Radiator and K Member didn’t) and are for sale and are ready to be cleaned up (24k miles of road grime) and bolted in to your Miata for a quick and easy swap or to upgrade and change as you wish. This price is way less than half of what I paid for these components when I built it, not to mention the time spent sourcing the non-kit parts and figuring things out.If you don’t mind some wear and tear, some grime, and some road rash and dents here and there, you are getting most of what you need for hundreds less than the cost of a new kit alone—everything from the engine to the rear end.Prefer to sell all at one time though will separate it if necessary.Kit manual, 94/95 wiring diagrams and various other parts also available. Please see attached doc for details of components included and pricing details. I'm having a hard time attaching photos, and will post again to show a couple more. Feel free to PM me with your email address if you're interested and would like to see more pics.
Thanks,
TM
