Hey all new to the v8 miata stuff, but not new to miatas I've owned my red 90' for 2yrs now and had a white 95' before that. Always loved the little roadster and my weak stock 1.6 is really boring. I know I could build the 1.6 and boost it but I've been learning around the v8 swap for many years and feel like nows the time to start planning and gathering parts. I've been doing lots of reading around the site on various builds one the caught my eye the most is cvx_20 build I've seen here and on his blog. I'm in the process of gathering parts for the 8.8 rear swap as I feel I can takle that the best and fastest and prob be the cheaper parts to begin with, as of right now I understand the basics for the rear and it seams that the axles are the most talked about which I'm still unclear as of what to do with. anyhow I plan to start a build thread sometime next year as I have more time then

P.S I'm in FL around the orlando area so if anyone else is local I would like to meet u guys and see ur builds for inspiration

+1 to both the above. There is more V8 Miatas in FL than any other state by far and Mitty is totally worth the trip.
