Default Newbie in Michigan

Been lurking for a while & thought I'd join the forum. I'm retired and do some car & motorcycle work to keep my mind busy. Back in 2009, I did an LS1 swap in my 2000 Miata (V8Roadsters kit).

Glad you stopped lurking and decided to say hello! I'd love to see some shots of your car!

Rick & Jim, Thanks for the warm welcome.

Look forward to meeting some of the members and seeing their rides. Are there any Miata get-togethers, shows or events in the midwest? I see Florida has a big event coming up April 6th.

Jim, sorry about not posting pics of the car in the intro. See you found the thread of the project. For others; here's the link https://www.v8miata.net/build-thread...56-getrag-807/

Wow that would be a blast! We could meet up at a track that has open track days like Nelson Ledges, Putnam Park or my fav the Autobahn Country Club. I wonder if we could get enough guys to make a weekend out of it. Do a little cruise, talk shop endlessly and bore our wives to death. I love it!
