Hey folks.
Thought I would finally say hello. I have been on this site for a while now reading and learning. I have decided to jump into this and do a build. Still nervous but, this site has given me the confidence to move forward lol. Sooo I just picked up a very nice 1991 green Miata with a hard top. Its is a very clean rust free car and well taken care of. And a few days ago I picked up a 1989 5.0L mustang 5 speed car as a donor for running gear. I have to say thanks to Gabriel on this site....loved his videos and honesty. I just got off the phone tonight with Martin from Monster Miata. I will be getting one of his conversion kits and rear ends for my project. I am sure I will be asking a ton of questions since I realize I do not have the mechanical experience that some of you folks have. I will take lots of pics of the build and post them for any input I can get and help. Thanks again for this amazing site. Eugene.

Lol ya another Canucklehead. A lot of my buddies were ribbing me about doing this build until I showed them how fast these cars go with a v8.

 

 

Looks like you need some more stuff to put in that garage!

 

Oh now you so can't tease us like that! I see of fox body, GTX or Road runner perhaps and Chevelle in back? Heck with the Miata I want to hear about the rest of the stable!

 

Lol you have a good eye. There is the 89 donor mustang. Then there is my blue 68 hemi roadrunner and my brothers 68 ss 396 chevelle. It's sporting a reher Morrison 585 bbc. The hemi rr is all original.
