Default Hi everyone

I am new to this forum. My name is Steve Jolly and I have a 99 Miata race car that my sons and I did an LS3 swap (376/525) using the FM kit about 2 years ago. We also have 3 other Miata’s, a 2000 with a built engine and an FMIIR turbo, and normally aspirated 95M and 03SE. We track and street all of them, though the V8 is a caged NASA race car and we only have it on the street for tuning and bedding pads.

I posted on the Performance thread a link to in-car race video from the V8 from Laguna Seca in October. But my YouTube channel (under my name, Steve Jolly) has other videos of the V8 that may be of interest to you.

This V8 Miata is incredible. And equally important it is reliable. I tracked a turbo in the race car for years and rebuilt the engine several times and shredded transmissions - no fun. I could of had a V8!!

Finally, I confess to be a lurker on this forum for years ... and now I repent and join you legally.

Cheers,

Steve

lol..welcome aboard. I agree that a V8 Miata is a great thing and a 525hp version is just the best
