Just saw this and my gosh, how long did it take to do all this? Is the car for sale?

Looked over this thread as a result of another post in a different are and noticed that there are several things I did to finish up the car that are worth noting.
First I paid good money to get the AC up and running last Winter.
It is just now getting warm enough to make use of the cold air.

Second, I replaced the battery with one about twice the size but it still fits in the same hole where the factory battery sits.
The car would crank slow after the car was warm. It always started but for my peace of mind I decided to upgrade.
Still went with the same style of non-vented battery but got one about twice as wide with more storage capacity.

I drive it to work a couple of times a month when the weather is really nice.
My wife and I took a full day road trip across the state last October to see the Fall colors as part of a group convertible trip.
I let one of the other guys drive the car some and he was duly impressed with the easy power delivery.

Other than that the car mostly sits in the garage collecting dust.

My car cranks slow after it warms up also. What battery did you end up buying?

Same with the hot cranking issue, though a bigger battery didn't help. A new starter seemed to do the job, though I haven't fully "tested" or heat-soaked it yet.

The car is currently for sale.
It just sits in the garage collecting dust.
The wife wants it out of the way and I have lost interest in driving it.

Yep, its tough. We are buying land to build a house on, as much as I don't want to it would be nice to have the funds on hand, but I still drive my car a few times a week and I just love it too much.
