On those headers, before you get too far along you might want to make sure you'll have clearance for the steering shaft.

I was thinking about that. I’m still driving the Miata now though. So I don’t think I’ll be able to check that till I get to that point. But it looks like they’ll clear.

PS- I have a set of standard rod/crank shells I would happily send a fellow enthusiast, pretty sure I have a set of OEM rings for a 89 GT I would toss in as well. Even cover the shipping and I can mark as used / open box. Just extras from my drag racing days that are kicking around.
Ill figure out these pics eventually. I tried quoting your post and seeing how you did it, but the pics show up in the field where I type. So I cant see how you did it. :-/
