side pipes

Default side pipes

Anyone using side pipes? I would like to use them on my build but I want cats and mufflers and don't know how to route all of that. Could use some help ,Thanks

I haven't actually looked at side pipes in a long time. But years ago when I was looking at them for a mustang I had, the muffler was inside the side pipe. Then all you would have to worry about would be the cat. I'm just not sure how you would be able to run side pipes with as low as the car is. I think you would be dragging them on everything. But would love to see it. Good luck.

I remember seeing some that JohnB./CRUZ-MSL had installed on his supercharged 5.0 back around 2004 on the "other" forum. There is a lot of mention of them, but I could not find the pictures,

Seems like you could make it work if you could fit a dual in/ dual out muffler where the x-pipe usually goes.
