I’ve got everything hooked up except the exhaust. Car idles fine (a little rich) if I rev it up it’s starts to misfire. I drove it up the street and it loses power if I give it too much gas. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Also my positive terminal gets hot while running. Could I have mixed up the wires to the alternator. It is a new style alternator 3 wires only.

 

Sounds like how mine drives. See my build thread for the issues I was having and what all I have done. Do you have your O2s hooked up? If there is a leak before the sensors, that can cause problems. Get a scanner and pull the KOEO codes, then KOER if you can. Helps point you in the direction.
