Default Switchback LEDs for turn signal intake

Just completed: I have turn signal intakes on my NA but I've found the standard incandescent orange bulb in the small corner lights to be not terribly bright nor distinctive when flashing. So I've installed so-called 'switchback' LEDs with load resistors. Now I have bright white marking lights (which, up here in Canada, are sorta manual DRLs...) that blink orange when turn signal or 4-way flashers are activated.

They look the same as you'd see on many late model cars: https://1drv.ms/v/s!AiXMcKEpPioyiD71nnjkphnMZgvN

Bought the LEDs and resistors as a complete kit from amazon for C$30, took 20-ish minutes to install. Resistors are not secured yet as I didn't have small enough screws but that's a quick fix.

Nice. Got a link to the parts that you installed?

This is the exact kit I bought https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B014QST19W/...214450_TE_dp_7

This one on the U.S. site would appear to be the same bulbs https://www.amazon.com/Partsam-Switc...157+switchback

but you'd have to buy the load resistors separately:
https://www.amazon.com/Resistors-Sig...+Load+Resistor

the two together are about the same price (after currency conversion) that I paid
