And when you're just done after the high speed climb up blood mountain and for those wanting to run the dragon, well we have our own dragon with wolf pen gap road. Very challenging and tight...perfect for the Miata :-)

Yes! I've been dying to drive the roads up there near blood mountain, I hear it has great roads and only about an hour and a half from the track. Scenic HWY 129 could take us there and the road is just perfect, no traffic, no trailers, just road.

Haven't visited this thread in several weeks - my mistake. But, Guys (and gals, perhaps), the Mitty is a great weekend any year..., but this year it's gonna be Plain Awesome! I'm VERY impressed with what Jim has done to keep the momentum going here and help build the excitement to gather up 20 some + or - V8M's at one of my favorite annual events! Hats off to Keith and Flyin Miata for putting some focus on this mad group as well! I hope we help you sell 20 more complete V8 kits this spring and summer to those that get bit the bug when they see and hear our toys at Rd ATL...
I DID convince myself to build a LSx Miata after taking a brief 30 second ride in FM's Elvis at The Mitty in '11 or '12. My build started about 6 months later, and thanks to FM for making even a semi-novice mechanic like me look like a hero as I built this car with many of FM's well thought out V8 kits!

Just an update for you folks that are following this closely. With 60 days to go I checked in with Keith and Martin to see about reaching out to their V8 customers. They both said they would send a note out about the event so hopefully we will get some more cars soon.
In case you missed it Keith put a page on the FM website that is a very handy link for you to use spreading the word. Flyin' Miata : V8 conversions : V8 Miatas at the Mitty
Martin also said he would be doing that on his site.
I believe this was mentioned some pages back in this thread but I wanted to pass along Martin is interested in coming and if he can work it out will do so. Just when I thought there could not possibly be any more icing on the cake the notion of having the father of our swap there, well, I don't even know what to say!

To get a free corral parking pass when purchasing your tickets, add an infield pass to your shopping cart. Then use coupon code FlyinMiata15. That will make the pass free and you'll get added to the list for a corral pass instead of just the infield parking.

Good news here. My fabulous USPS lady dropped off our Mitty Tickets, in-field parking passes, and Car Corral sticker today. I must have ordered a bit early - as my corral windshield pass/ sticker is # 002! See you guys in a little over a month from now. Look forward to seeing as many of these cars as we can get to show up in the Flyin Miata V8 corral. Should be a hoot!
