Friend just sent me this link today: 2016 MX-5 Miata V8 Conversion

Flyin Miata and Road & Track seem sorta cozy these days... Good for FM! Good press coverage is hard to come by in their specialized field, I'm sure of.

Heck, I just want to build a NC V8. That would seem like a modern car compared to the NA (that I love so much).

 

Yep there was a good bit of buzz on FB about it yesterday. Too bad it won't be ready for the Mitty!

 

I posted that on our Facebook page at about 3 pm, late for the east coast. The next morning, I got to work and had messages from GRM, R&T, C+D, Automobile, Autoblog and more. R&T did the biggest writeup, but not the only one.

Driving at the Mitty isn't going to be possible, although if it's far enough along it might be worth pushing into the trailer. We'll see how things go.
