Default Obd ii ford - Is there software to allow modification of the FORD OBD II ?

Is there soft ware to allow modification of the FORD OBD II like there is for an OBD I FORD.
I am concidering using a '99 or 2000 Explorer engine modified with an aftermarket cam ect. to get around 300 RWHP. My car is an '02 and would like to keep it emission passable.

It appears that this will support the 5.0 Explorer:

There is still the problem of the Explorer being a truck and therefore not acceptable in some Federal circles. I have no doubt that it can be made to work, but you still have to pass emissions, and with with a truck VIN, that may be a problem. Of course if you stay in FL that's not a problem. Yet.

Mike,
Thanks. That is what I was looking for!
I think that this solution would be better than a stand alone. It surely appears to be easier to tune.
Do you have it?

PS how is the fixture coming?

No, I haven't had the need. If I ever go OBD-II on a Ford, this seems to be a solution.

The fixture is moving forward at a snail's pace.

Not sure about this but in order to comply with emissions I think the engine has to be newer than the vehicle....just an observation

In canada, there different range for car and truck... So a truck engine never pass in a car.

The explorer uses coil, think it a avantage in tuning.
