Hello. My 5.0 1990 is complete but I cannot get it to idle cold. It will start and immediately die unless I give it some throttle for a minute or two. The car is wired according to mccully racing's cardomain guide. I do not have the egr or air pump connected. I have replaced the iacv and done the base idle reset 3 times. I am completely stumped. Please help. Thank you.

 

Did you adjust the screw on the throttle body?

 

Get it warmed up and run a KOEO and KOER test. Post the codes here. I bet you have a TPS or IAC issue but it could also be a coolant temp sensor making the car think its already warmed up, a intake temp sender telling the ECU the air is too cool and flooding it or a HEGO reading wrong and also flooding it. It could be a combination of all of them. 10 minutes, a paperclip, a pencil and a note pad will get you sent in the right direction at least.
