Default FM LS exhaust is now available!

Our exhaust systems are now in stock and ready to ship!

They're a complete dual exhaust system including headers. It's been designed to fit cars with the rear-mount V8R subframe and Getrag diff.

The exhaust is hooked together with V-bands, and is a true dual design. The muffler - hand-built for this application - is actually twin mufflers with a crossover pipe inside the case. The sound is really nice. We'll have to get a better video on an engine that isn't all rattly!

The whole thing is stainless steel, bent on a CNC mandrel bender for perfect fit and maximum internal flow. The catalytic converters are a very free-flowing metallic core design, and have been proven to pass Arizona emissions on an LS376/480 with the stock GM program. They have a 5 year/50,000 mile warranty on the case and a 25,000 mile warranty on the ability to pass emissions. The rest of the exhaust system has a lifetime warranty.

The price for the whole system is $1475, including the headers.

What diameter are those primaries? They look awfully small.

If they are at least 2.25 they should be fine. People get a little carried away when it comes to exhaust diameter. Remember, on any V8 Miata the choke point of any exhaust is going to be the shortie-type headers 99% of us run.

Believe it or not, on a naturally aspirated car having exhaust tubes that are too wide in diameter will actually cause you to loose a little low end torque.

Again, nice work Keith and Company. Still, it would be nice to hear it in action. Could a Youtube video of the exhaust in action (idle, in car, drive by on street and then on track) be put up maybe?

Primaries usually refers to the header tubes before the collector. The primaries on our headers are 1.5". The main exhaust pipes are 2.5".

I posted a link to a YouTube video of the exhaust in action in my first post: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OB4ZkhirtUI . We'll have more video of it (with a new, non-rattly engine) when the weather clears as both of the cars running the Targa will have this exhaust.
