Default LSx Conversion dipstick location and type

Just bought an LS2 conversion unfinished, and trying to sort it all out. Motor was from a GTO and originally had the dipstick in the oil pan. Currently the car has the Moroso aluminum oil pan with no hole for the dipstick. I understand there is another hole near the knock sensor that is blocked on the GTO motor. I will open it up, but what style/size dipstick should I use with that pan? Anybody running this setup?

I went this route. You'll find a small, approx. 3/8" plug in lower block. I believe I just punched it out when I had my GTO pan and windage tray off. I remember it zinged across the shop and was never to be found when I tapped it out!
Believe I purchased a GM dipstick assembly for F-body car. Installed it, and used a tubing bender to angle it towards the front somewhat. I thought it looked too tall otherwise...
