Can somebody who has done an engine swap start a basic info thread? Sort of a cliffs-notes version of the info that is spread out all over this site and others.

I think one of these would be a great help to those of us thinking about starting a swap sometime soon.

Even if it's just links to other sites that have basic info, I've sort of run out of stuff to read, and I still don't have a really good feel for what my options are, and what parts will mix and match with each other. (mostly as far as driveline parts between the trans and the wheels. I've seen talk about finding people to make custom parts, but there must be some off-the-shelf parts for that?)
