Default Another Monster Breathes Today - 1st start

Well I took a deep breath, prayed one last time, and turned the key. Couple of spins and it roared to life! Ran it about 20 second to see the oil pressure come up and shut it down. I have to do something about my front brake lines before allowing the headers to get hot. I just noticed the drivers side one is right on the header. I am so relieved to know that the 100's of pieces are basically in the right places. I am going to the house and watch some basketball.

What a great feeling hearing it finally run for the first time. Congrats. The final details will be a breeze.

Congrats! See my build thread for my re-route of that brake line for same reason.

Outstanding! I never rerouted that brake line to the outer side of the frame rail but rather "adjusted" its route away from the header tube and bent the joint tab underneath a little to get it away from the collector. Between the header wrap and the heat wrap on the brake tube itself, I've not had any problems. That joint tab is close to the collector so it may be a candidate for relocation too...
