What are you running for your slave cylinder?
I know some guys use the Miata one, and I've seen some people use universal ones. I've also heard that a slave from a Nissan truck works.

After a lot of adjusting, my Miata slave (coupled with Martin's master) works great.

I used the Miata slave at the transmission and I used this for the master cylinder https://www.summitracing.com/parts/t...875u/overview/
I initially used the master cylinder that's part of Martin's kit but I had issues with it trying to get the clutch adjusted properly. This Tilton has a larger diameter piston which gives the slave more movement. It makes for a little stiffer feel to the pedal but its not bad. |
That brings me to another question. What master should I be using? Or should I just order Martins?

With my sn95 bell I used the 70's era Toyota master and a Miata slave. I also removed the cruise control kill switch on the clutch pedal and everything has been fine for 5k miles.

Can you get the cruise to easily work once the V8 is in? Mines broken now, but I may fix it before the swap if I could keep it.

I got rid of all cruise control devices from my car. Not sure how easy or hard it is to keep. |
I just connected the vacuum line and it worked fine.
