Ok with that title I knew I would get everyones attention. I have my 93 302 engine and saw a tranny on Craigslist out of a 94 5.0 T-5 will this fit my motor? Trying to save money.

The t-5 from a 94-95 Mustang has a longer input shaft. It will require a different bellhousing (which I have an extra one if you need it). The shifter would probably line up with the hole in the floor pan pretty good with that transmission.

Good find! As Tbone stated, you'll end up with a shifter that's an inch or so further aft, which is a very good thing.

Yes, it will make the driveshaft a little shorter. When you're ready I'll get an exact measurement from you from the pinion flange of your differential to the output of the trans. I'll then measure my car, and subtract the difference. It will not affect price as the same slip and flange yoke will be used.

Let me know when you want to pull the trigger on this,
-Jason
