Default I Need a Transmission

Hi guys it’s time to start my second LS NB build! I’v realy missed my first LS2 NB ever since I sold it a little over a year ago so I’ve decided to do it again. I’m looking for a source for a new transmission. I’d like a T56 that would fit without having to modify the tunnel like I did last time. Anyone know of a vender selling one?

Thanks

You might try Hawk Motorsports.
Hawks Motor Sports ? 1982-2002 Camaro and Firebird Specialists

They have a selection of salvage cars.
I got my engine and transmission from them.

Glad to hear that I am not the only one considering doing another Miata swap.
I had a great time doing my first and greatly enjoyed the process.

What are you going to do different this time?

Thanks for the info. This time around I’m going to do a top notch build, my first miata was a high mileage base modle with a Maco paint job, and I use an iron block 6.0l truck engine. This time i’m going with a LS3 crate engine in a low mileage LS or Mazdaspeed model. At least thats the plane for now!
