Default Help Identifying a 7.5 axle assembly

Hi I'm getting ready to order the axles for my 8.8 diff and I emailed Martin at MM and he gave me the part number but he also warned that sometime the store will pull the axles for a 8.8 instead of the 7.5 that is needed for the swap. He said "The best way to check is the outer 8.8 CV is 4" in diameter and the 7.5 CV is 3.5"" I just want to make sure I'm measuring in the right place.

This is the axle

and this is the outer CV where I measure at the widest spot, correct?

Thanks

Cool

Yes, that is what you need to measure, if your going coil overs then I believe there is enough room for the 4" axles without mods.
