Drawings or Templates...
Hello, new to this forum.
Anyone have any drawings or templates to scale for installing a 8.8 IRS in the Miata? I am working on fabbing my own but thought maybe someone had a nice kit to make it quicker and easier. Not going the aftermarket kit way. Thanks for any help. Kenny

Well, short of taking the parts off my car and tracing them out for you, which I would not do to Boss Frog, all I can say is look at a lot of pictures of the current crop of solutions then star fabing your own.
When I did my own accy drive set up I started with card board, then went to lexan before I ever cut the 1/2" aluminum. It took two tries with the lexan to get what I wanted but it sure saved time and materials. Now I have templates to copy if I decide I want to share the set up.
I liked the BF set up as it was a very solid mount. I did cut and mod it to fit the 8.8 Cobra rear I was using. The only thing I am worried about is clearing the rear axles. I may make the bend under the boots with 1 1/4 or 1 1/2" pipe and then cut the radius down the middle and add a piece top and bottom to give the volume I need (esentially oval pipe). It should clear all the mounts and other items at the rear of the car.
