Default Before you post a newbie question please read this

Nearly every question newbies ask in considering building a car cannot be answered by the group without knowing 5 things:

1 What do you want to do with the car when it is done? (dedicated track car, street monster, daily driver, somewhere in between or none of the above)
2 How do you plan to build the car? (home garage on jack stands with hand tools, borrowed welder, buddies pro shop with a lift, or?)
3 What is your skill level? (master mechanic, welder and fabricator, done some successful mods and know enough to be dangerous, need to google how to change oil…)
4 What is the current condition of the car? (to know how far it needs to go to get to where you want it)
5 What is your budget? (you need to listen close to what we tell you about this one...)

Now interestingly enough once you answer those questions you won’t need much advice from us!

If you post a question asking for advice on big picture issues from us please include the answers to the above in your post. See ya in the forums!
