Springs for Koni Sport on LS1 conversion
Well, have started my conversion and the car I bought has a set of Koni yellow sport shocks. I know nothing about them, other than they have blue springs, marked 107 in the front and 108 in the rear.
The springs look to be set on the highest circlip location on the shock body, and the car sits about 3.5 inches off the ground.
Since I have the car apart, I was looking into spring rates, length, etc, but can't find much data on these, nor replacements for the v8 conversion weight difference.
Any recommendations on proper springs for these shocks once the V8 goes in?

I talked to Flying Miata and they recommended their ground control spring setup on the koni's. I found out from the original owner that the shocks have hardly any miles on them and are less than a year old.
Anybody have experience with the ground control springs?

I believe they're one of the more popular choices when it comes to aftermarket Miata springs for coil overs - and would feel comfortable in going with FM's recommendations. Your like-new Konis are a plus and save you some $ there. If you want to search for more spring info, I'd go to miata.net and search the suspension section that would most likely answer any q's you have. Post up a build thread if you can!

You should talk to Jason he has run Konis for a while I think. He also knows these cars better than most! Check out this thread:
