First attempt at a V8 install in a 1990 NA. 5th Gen LT1, 6060 Tremec. I'm using the V8 Roadsters bare subframe and had to make my own mounts since there's nothing newer than LS1 mounts on that subframe. I have boxed the "frame" rails with 14ga. 304 and sandwich plates in the cockpit. My tailshaft housing has a crossmember tied into the rails. My question is related to number of mounting points recommended. Will having just the engine block mounts and tailshaft mount be enough. The TR6060 has 2 more mounting points just back of the integrated bell housing. I could possibly add another mount there but ground clearance would become an issue. What do the experienced builders recommend?
