Cool 04 sport brakes on NA Miata

Just purchased Calipers, rotors and brackets to convert my tiny NA brakes to larger sport package. My question is, has anybody installed the Sport Dust shields / backing plates onto the NA spindles.
Will the newer rear shields press on like the NA shield and will the front bolt up? I have the opportunity to get these brand new at a very good price. Seems like a very clean way to alter the backing plates to fit. Also as far as I am able to tell the law requires vehicles in Canada to have the backing plates. DOT inspector friend told me they are required to protect the rotor/pads from getting wet on a street car. Braking reaction can be reduced by up to 1 sec to clear the thin film of water off of cold brakes. Race cars different story.

Part #s:
Rear - N06726261
front R - NC8233260A
front L - NC8233270A
EDIT: Answered my own question with a little help from google translator and a DIY Italian MX5 site, yes sir, yes it fits just like it should. Italian's have such long nice way of explaining things. ROCK ON!!

Thanks
