So I know this is highly unusual, but I thought I would throw it out there. If you have read my build thread then you know I am putting together an NB car. I got a deal on a new unused NA V8R subframe kit, in which case I have just been planning on swapping to an NA steering rack since the mounting points are the only considerable differences. The past day or so however, I had thought that maybe if someone here is about to order an NA kit for their build, they would order an NB kit instead and just swap me subframes? The rest of the kit is identical, so I would just want to swap subframes. Obviously I would pay for shipping costs. I understand this is kind of a strange request, but as it sets I have gotten a lot of unusual help from guys here so I thought it was worth the try.

Have you asked V8R if they would swap at a reasonable price?

Yeah, called them about it the other day. Can't say I blame them, but they typically only exchange/return parts within 30 days of purchase, and he said to the original buyer. Even then there is a restocking fee. This isn't a make or break thing for my build, but the more I think on it, the more I thing that may just be easier for me to do.
