Hey guys, been lurking for a couple months so I figured since I'm about to buy a 5.0 for my swap I would introduce myself. My build will be extremely slow because I'm 18 and broke so you guys are just gonna have to keep posting to keep me entertained. I'll start a build thread when I actually get some parts accumulated. Gonna to a mild rebuild on this 5.0 so anybody know any good gasket kits? Is the Ford Racing one really better or can I just get something from amazon?

The last rebuild kit that I purchased for a SBF (most of my parts I got for free) came from Summit, & it contained all name brand parts at a low price. I did however use a Ford one-piece oil pan gasket. Always use one of those.
