Default WolfGT here!

Hi everyone. Today begins my journey into the Monster Miata scene. I just purchased a 91 Miata that has seen better days. That is why I bought it. I got it with the clear intention to convert it to a Monster Miata. So I'm here to learn from the ones that have been down this path and also get feedback on what I am working on. I'm in the upstate of SC, so if there is anyone close, let me know.

I have a somewhat quick pace for this project planned. I hope to have it ready for the track in 3 months. Hopefully.

I have always wanted to race and have unfortunately kept pushing it down the priority list. Well, not any more.

I am really looking forward to this.

Greg

Hey welcome Greg! Great to hear your story and I'm looking forward to your build. 3 months is doable for sure depending on how much extra stuff you do (like seam welding, parting out your donor, etc) and how much time you can put into it. Being retired would be helpful!

You are on the rigtht track learning what you can here before you start. Reading build threads was super helpful to me and there are lots of good ones here. Also check out:

And by all means start your own build thread!

I don't know of any builds in SC but there is a couple of great ones in NC and Atlanta in process now that might be worth the trip to see.
