Hey Guys,

Just figured I'd drop in and introduce your favorite new pain in the ***... Me!

My name's Bill and I live in Southern NH. I'm 35 and have been building and playing with cars for more than 20 years now. I've mostly been into GM stuff, and have built quite a few cool Fleetwoods, Impalas, Caprices, Wagons, Camaros, Firebirds, etc...

I had a Miata a few years ago that I had intended to stuff an LS1 into, and then we got pregnant. So I sold it. It was a 91 from Florida, that I ended up sorting out (tune up, VC gasket, Timing Belt, Brakes), replacing the top, and painted gloss grey. I have missed it since the day I sold it. And even though I still get a ton of chit about it from most of my friends, I'm about to pick up a 94 locally to finally go through with the LSx build now that my daughter is old enough to help me. 3 and a half is old enough, right?

Anyways, I have a lot to learn here. I don't really want to spend the money on the Flyin' Miata or Boss Frog kits, but will if I have to. I'm hoping to find info on how to build the stuff on my own here.

And I do know how to search, and how to make my way through the archives, and will start there, like any newb should. But that doesn't mean I'm not going to ask the stupid question that drives all the residents nuts and will roll their eyes at and are sick of hearing... But I will do my best to avoid doing that.
