Default Ready to learn!Newbie from Chicago.

Hello, my name is Jake and I have a 1991 miata. It is currently stuck in my garage due to a tragedy. Rod Knock.......
Well my brother has been a 5.0 guy since he was young and he gave me the idea of putting a 302 into my Miata. I never even heard of swapping a 302 into a Miata, and around where I am it is unheard of. I have my heart set on doing this swap, I have a carb 302 and a t5 ready. I just don't know what route, I am in need of guidance.
All and any help is greatly appreciated.

I have been on that site, and I am aware of Martin's work. I don't really want to buy his kit but if I have to I will.

Martin's kit is a pretty good buy for what you get and the headaches you don't have to solve if you use it.

Good luck with your build and welcome,
-Jason

The kit does not contain anything related to the A/C, P/S, or fuel injection. The P/S is an option. I could have come up with all of the stuff in the kit eventually, but the cost of material for the trial & error method as well as the freight costs of shipping parts back & forth to the suppliers trying to find the "correct" ones is not worth it to me. My time is worth something. The price of the kit is worth every penny.
