Hello!
Kinda awesome to see a site for V8 miatas!!!
I purchased a V8 Miata last summer, so much fun!
Mine is a Ford 5.0 Conversion built by Cardiac Cobra, with many improvements made since. Thanks a ton to the previous owner!!!
Some of the improvements include an electronic fan controller, better radiator with a custom built shroud that forces the cold air through the radiator instead of around it (probably has a technical term, but i dunno what) and a custom built cold air intake that's insulated and isolated from the rest of the engine bay.
Car runs great, only had a couple minor issues. One of which involved a failed differential mount that caused the differential to fall out as i hit the throttle in front of my driveway - OOPS!
Fixed now, with a much better mount and a skid plate, just in case! (thanks a lot to some friends with these kind of skills)
As for future plans, nothing too major. I plan to change a couple of mounts that look worn, new tires (cant believe how quickly those went! haha), a few minor repairs to the exhaust pipes, couple holes from rubbing (speed-bumps) and some gasket issues.
Long term, not sure yet. But I plan to change the exhaust from the headers back as its getting a little old. Really want to rebuild another 5.0 one day, partly just for the learning experience, mostly to swap out the current one when it gets too worn. (It runs great as of now, no smoke or substantial leaks)
I tend to run on when i post-sorry about that! (at least i dont post often )

I'm assuming you purchased a certain maroon V8 Miata...if so, that's a nice V8. I'm not sure what the conversion had as far as engine upgrades but if you want to add AC of relocate your TFI module let me know. I have a kit for each at my site as well as other Ford conversion stuff.
Good luck with the car!
