Default Cam swap

Does anyone know if it’s possible to swap the cam in my LS with the motor still in the car? Right now I have an LS 3 with a stock cam and 243 heads but have a texas speed BFD cam and PRC 220 heads sitting on the shelf in my shop. I’d like to swap those out but REALLY don’t want to pull the motor. Is it possible to swap them without pulling it??

Not sure, probably depends on how much of the stock structure is still in front of the engine. My engine has been in and out about 6 times since I built the car. I can drop it in 4 hours of fairly relaxed work. It's so much easier to work on when it's out of the car.

Apparently, it is possible if you cut the front structure a little and move the hood latch out for the way. I did it this weekend.
