Default A/C thread sizes needed (metric)

Building all custom lines on my LS build for the A/C. I'm trying to figure out the metric size on all the Miata components. I took my lines into a few local hardware stores, but the metric selection is limited. I Googled all day and could not find anything solid.

I need size on:
Evaporator low side connection
Evaporator high side connection
Condenser connection

I'm making 3 custom lines and not using any of the stock Miata lines. As soon as I get the sizes correct, Ill finish my order of the proper fittings and fab them up.

My AC guy lists the ends he uses for the hoses I make as just metric #10 and metric #8. The number refers to the hose size which I think only goes with one size of metric or standard hose end. All the connections are #8, #10 or the smaller one found leading to and from the dryer bottle.

I'm having a set of hoses made up shortly. I can ask what the smaller size is at that point for you.

Talking to the shop that is helping me, Low side is a #10, high side is a #6, and hose from compressor to condenser is a #8.

I'm looking on https://coldhose.com/fittings/metric...ng-metric.html for my fittings, and a few of the hose sizes have multiple thread options in metric sizes.

Pretty sure high side is a M16, and low side is a M21. Gonna swing by another hardware store today and try to size the condenser - looks like a M18 or M20.

OK. Got it I think. Just ordered all the parts to assemble the lines.

Low side - M22 size 10 line
High side - M16 size 6 line
Condenser - M20 size 8 line
Drier - M16 connection

Ill take pictures when its all together in my AC thread

So are you saying that these are all the fittings you needed to make yours work? I will definitely be looking forward to hearing if this worked for you.
