Just looked at the Toyota V12, Nice engine. Should be super smooth and plenty strong. Looking forward to updates.

alrighty so the v12 has gained loads of momentum considering that i only got the motor the 15th december
i should be ready to fire it up in the next 2 weeks !!!! lets hope so i moved the build thread to miata.net as its not v8 content heres the clicky for it https://forum.miata.net/vb/showthread.php?t=629783 |
By all means do not stop updating here just because of the extra 4 pistons! Regardless of the forum's name we are open to any and all Miata engine swaps here.

as an update here
i have the v12 in and mounted - needs a little bit of bonnet trimming and "maybe" a bit more here are some pics - it fits way better than expected Attachment 6094 Attachment 6095 Attachment 6096 Attachment 6097 showing clearance on drivers side - the motor is offset 30mm Attachment 6098 i am in the middle of wiring hell actually - battling the wiring and a mental block - i seem to have lost my way and confidence on wiring so its got the bmw m3 e46 lsdiff / toyota r154 gearbox / lexus 1uzfe flywheel just blots straight on to the v12 crank / ms3 pro ecu and lots of other small changes I am so excited to get it to start !!!! |

Ive been following this build on a Miata forum. His car fell off of a lift at a shop and he's dealing with that now. Sucks.
