[IMG][/IMG]Angus was happy to see the arrival of the water/meth kit, but I think he really just wanted the box that it came in.

I made a custom fiberglass pocket & grafted it into the dash pad to hold the Water/meth controller. You can also see the 3 gauge pod/radio bezel that I installed. I am waiting to check for oil leaks on the oil pressure gauge before I complete its installation. You can also see the new leather shift boot as well as the cockpit-mounted brake proportioning valve.

Another shot of the brake proportioning valve. It is mounted to a stainless steel bracket that is attached to the dash mounting bolts on the tunnel. The 10" braided stainless steel brake hoses pass through grommets in the tunnel & are connected to the factory rear brake line.

This is a shot of the nut plate that I made for the addition of the transmission cross member bolt. It is located in the passenger floorboard area. I also drilled & tapped a 1/4" hole to the rear part of the plate & installed a bolt to keep the plate from moving in the event that the cross member had to be removed. By adding this small bolt, the interior/seat will not have to be disturbed. The nut plate is made from a piece of 1 1/2" X 1/4" steel flat bar with a sub-frame nut from a Ford Taurus recall welded to it. It worked great.

Here is a shot of the heater hoses at the firewall inlet. I am showing this while the supercharger is removed so you can see what had to be done for clearance in that area. This is a hand fabricated sheet metal box that creates a recessed area in the firewall. This has held up well for the past seven years although the seam sealer is starting to crack.

I really like your up-close photos and details you're sharing with us. Your work looks well executed and tasteful. Can't imagine what a supercharged 5.0 Miata does to people when you go by, passing on the Left! Must sound delightful from front to back!

If there is anything that anybody needs a picture of just let me know. I am a pretty detail oriented type of person.

Homelink garage door opener installed in center console. The garage door opener was purchased from the junkyard in a sunvisor from a Lincoln town car for five dollars.

I hope you'll be at The Mitty in a few weeks with EITHER roadster! Your Cobra is painted my favorite color combination, BTW... So clean looking...

This is for all of you guys that are holding up your hood on your wild & highly engineered engine conversions with a broomstick.

It is a shortened stock Miata hood prop that mounts & stows in the cowl area using factory parts.

The clasp that holds the prop in the stowed position is secured with the same bolt that holds the hard line from the brake booster. I had to drill 2 holes. One in the area for the pivot & one in the hood rib. The yellow rectangle for the prop location comes from the "skeleton" of an AutoMeter gauge sticker.

Progress on the car has halted while the garage construction has begun. Footings were poured Thursday & the slab gets poured tomorrow.

I was able to install some new outer c/v boots this week. The smaller Audi boots fit very well, & provide a lot more clearance between them & the struts.
