Default Baad 88's 91 Miata Ford build

Getting my parts in order so I can start when the nicer weather gets here.
88 5.0L and T5 with a 7.5 diff
Ordered Martins kit less K member and header. (having a custom K member made)
On the car itself I have put a new roof and leather seats from a 2004. Other than that it is stock but not for long.
Here are some pics for now. The car that gave it's heart
Rolling chassis is sold. (bonus)
Needs work

I won’t be rushing. I figure if I’m going to do it I might as well do it right.

From the pics it looks like you have good steering shaft clearance from the header. How’s exhaust clearance going into the tunnel? Would love to get together to compare builds once you’re up and running.

The exhaust clearance looks better than I thought it would but time will tell when I get the tubing done.

Looks great so far ! what do you plan on wiring / ecu ? Alot of people have had good luck with the megasquirt pnp unit.

Also what valve covers are those or are they a custom job ? They look great !

I’m just running the mustang wiring and ecu.
Also it is speed density for now.
Those are stock valve covers.

In the first picture, on a Mustang, that line actually does a u-turn with a factory molded hose and attaches to a metal "T" that is threaded into the bottom side of the upper intake plenum (between the top of the valve cover and the bottom of the plenum near #7 and #8 cylinders) and the other molded hose coming from that hidden "T" goes to the PCV valve. That is so that the PCV system can evacuate any oil residue that might accumulate in the upper intake.

In the second picture, I am assuming that you are referring to the "blue" nipple? In a Mustang, that attaches to a vacuum canister that supplies vacuum to the HVAC mode doors.

Thank you for the reply.
So the blue nipple is not needed anymore and I could run my brake booster off the other line?

Run your booster off of the vacuum tree at the rear underside of the intake.
