The GM guys have LS1tech for all their motor head talk but where do the 5.0 guys hang out?

I ask because there is a couple of Miata swap owners on LS1tech that don't hang out in any Miata forums and I'm looking for more Fords to invite to mitty. If anyone is willing to post on the event or point me to the forum I should be posting please let me know.

Jim, I'm sure you already know that there's a lot of V8 guys, including those in the Ford camp, who post in the Engine Conversions section of Miata.net.

Most Ford guys probably also frequent the various forums that include mechanical tech for their drivetrains, just like the GM guys go to LS1tech. Some popular ones would be corral.net, allfordmustangs.com, maybe fordmuscleforums.com, and a favorite of mine, sbftech.com

It's funny, a dozen years ago when I first got interested in the V8 Miata thing, a gathering of the species would have had a large crowd of Blue Oval fans talking Fox body drivetrains and the lone GM renegade feeling awkward. How times have changed since someone figured out there was a shoehorn big enough to squeeze an LSx motor into the Miata engine bay!

Tbone, even if my car's not running in April, I'll try to make it up there just to meet you, hopefully absorb some of your knowledge, and talk shop. If I get to drive L'il Red up, I'll introduce her to your car so she has a role model of what she wants to be when she grows up!
