Default Stock 5.0 performance-any times?

Curious if anyone out there with a stock or close to stock 5.0 ford (225hp) has taken there mx5 down the track? What can a miata pull for a 1/4 mile time? It would be col to hear from the modified guys too (300+hp).

The problem with drag racing these cars is the inherent wheel-hop issues that come with a high-horsepower, independent rear car. A V8 Miata is much more well suited to road course racing than drag racing.

well im not saying we should put 12"slicks w/ 4.10 gears in the rear and dump the clutch at at 4k, but Im for sure taking mine down the 1/4 when I finish. Some one must have run there car around here... 0-60 times or anything?

stiffen up those springs and get some drag radials. that will fix your wheel hop.
