Wasn't sure where to put this. I wanted to ask, is Monster Miata still operational? I've been trying to get a hold of Martin without success.

 

I hope so, I just ordered a manual from the site, and planned on ordering the kit.

Very much still in business. Got my kit last week. Try emailing him again.

 

I have found he can be slow or unresponsive with email too. He is super busy pretty much all the time. Just call him if you get his voice mail leave him a message telling him what you need. (not just call me back) He will respond to you.

 

This is very common - you need to be patient with Martin, he's one guy that does everything, and he's extreamly busy. it took me a few weeks to finally get a hold of him when i bought my kit, and almost everytime i had to call him back about things, it would take several attempts... but in the end, he came through no problem, accomodated shipping around my vacation, found me all used parts so i wouldn't have to ship mine accross the border to get modified, got me a driveshaft, accomodated my prefered payment method.

but patience you will need, it often takes a while to get a hold of him.

 

oh ya, like Jim said - don't email him!

he even told me her prefers a phone call.. then he can be runing errands or doing other things while talking to you instead of sitting in front of a computer slowly typing an email reply

Thanks guys, guess I'm just used to my last email and phone call from him. Was fast, (4 days) and he answered all my questions at the time. I was just looking at buying the Miata at that point and wanted to get a few details on the conversion. Guess I'll just have to sweeten the phone call and get my wife to call him for me and leave a sexy message.
