Default Martins Coolant Filler?? Where can I get one??

Curious if anyone knows where Martin gets his coolant filler from for the Monster kit. I've scoured the interwebs and cant hardly come up with any anywhere that have the cap on the top like that, and go directly to the thermostat housing. I know I can order it from him.. just wondering if there are alternatives to the $42+tax/shipping. If not i'll have to pull the trigger.

I currently have an SN95, and want to relocate the filler from my radiator to there. My hose also currently sticks up too high :/

I have an SN95, and even with Martin's filler it's a real tight fit. I had to trim my thermostat housing and also the bottom of the filler to get it to fit under the hood. It's fine now, but the cap has to be turned the right direction--it's that close. Full disclosure--my hood is not trimmed at all--the SN95 intake fits under there with no trimming.

Ideally, somebody ought to make a run of one-piece thermostat housings that have that filler neck built in--would make things a lot simpler, and one less hose to try to keep from leaking.

Do you have a picture? I have a buddy that fabricates coolant tanks, oil catch cans and the like. He may be able to fab something up, but depending on what it is $42 doesn't sound like a terrible price for a custom part that works

The one that Martin sent with my kit looks a lot like this one: PRW 5292202: Aluminum Hose Filler Universal | JEGS

Thats interesting. All the builds I've seen from martin used a vertical filler at the thermostat housing.. Maybe I should just go with an inline like that..?

It works good. I like the fact that when I lay it on top of the alternator, it becomes the highest point in the coolant system thus making the system easier to fill. After filling, I tuck it back down where it belongs.

The first kit which I purchased around 2004 had a universal filler like this. All the kits since have had the 90 degree one which I think he has made up just for him. He could probably sell you one if you contact him.
