I am building my engine for my Martin conversion kit and the oil pan pickup does not work with Martin's modified oil pan.

Does this take a special pickup?
Does this take a custom made pickup?
What fits?
Does anyone have a part number or source?
Does anyone have pictures of what works?

The only interference problems I've had with Martin's pans were with extended-length rod bolts such as ARP's and the one little chunk of metal that has to be cut off or Melling oil pumps. Are you sure you have the right pickup? What was the source of your engine's bottom end?
